A 32-year-old man has been arrested at Manchester Airport and is set to appear before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. He faces two counts of burglary in connection with incidents in Middlesbrough. The arrest was carried out by officers from Middlesbrough CID on Monday, February 24.
Burglary Incidents in Middlesbrough
The man is accused of being involved in two burglaries at the same property in central Middlesbrough, which took place on January 29 and 31. During the first incident, electrical items and jewellery were reportedly stolen.
The second burglary turned violent, with two women, both aged 29, allegedly attacked. One of them was knocked unconscious, while the other was reportedly “kicked down the stairs.”
