Teen arrested in connection with St. Pauls stabbing

Authorities have arrested a third individual linked to a stabbing in St Pauls, Bristol. The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, when a teenage boy was attacked at the intersection of Badminton Road and Ashley Road. Two suspects were detained last week, and on Sunday, February 16, an 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm. He has since been released on police bail.

A 15-year-old boy, charged with possessing a bladed article, appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, February 15, and pleaded guilty. Granted bail, he is scheduled for sentencing at Bristol Crown Court on Friday, February 21. The second suspect from the initial arrests has also been released on bail.

Detective Sergeant James Organ stated, “Our investigation continues, with several lines of inquiry still active. We know some people may have filmed the incident, and we urgently need that footage. If you witnessed the event, the moments leading up to it, or its aftermath—or know someone who did—please contact us if you haven’t already.”

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the developments, noting, “A third arrest has been made in the ongoing probe into the St Pauls stabbing. Following the attack on a teenage boy on February 13, two individuals were detained last week. On February 16, an 18-year-old was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and later bailed. A 15-year-old, charged with carrying a bladed article, admitted guilt in court on February 15 and awaits sentencing on February 21 after being released on bail. The other suspect remains on police bail.”
