Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust
At around 9:10 pm, Staffordshire Police stopped a vehicle on Keelings Drive, a residential street between London Road and the A34. During the stop, officers found cannabis, cash, and a mobile phone in the car. This discovery led them to search a property in the area, where they seized cocaine, additional cannabis, and more cash.
Arrest and Ongoing Investigation
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug (cannabis). However, police later released him under investigation while further inquiries continue.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson stated:
“Officers stopped a car on Keelings Drive, Trent Vale, at around 9:10 pm on February 8. They found cannabis, cash, and a mobile phone. Following this, a property in the town was searched, leading to the seizure of cocaine, cannabis, and cash.”
