Police Call for Public Support in Tackling Drug Crime
Sgt Andy Ward of the Wyre Task Force emphasized the importance of community support in tackling organised crime. He stated:
“We continue to work with partners and communities to tackle organised crime and drug dealing. Drug supply and use remain a priority for local communities. We know this because YOU tell us. Please be reassured, we will continue to disrupt and seek prison sentences for people who supply drugs in the local area to make a safer community for all.”
How the Public Can Help
Police are encouraging residents to come forward with any information about drug-related crimes. Reports can be made anonymously through Crimestoppers or by contacting local authorities directly.
